Information (hub)

Scheduling

How do I know when my order will be ready for collection?

The schedule is indicative and depends on the earliness of the variety and the status of the mother‑plant stock. Your starting point is the scheduling table.

Scheduling table

What do you recommend as a first trial order?

5–10 varieties, 1 tray per variety, and one selected technological route (A/B/C/D). Objective: validation of your own growing medium–irrigation–climate system.

Collection & storage

How does collection work?

Collection at our site, in normal or palletised arrangement (according to volume).

Transport and collection

How long can I store the trays after collection?

The goal is immediate planting/potting (ideally on the day of collection). If plants must wait: only in a cool, light place, with good air movement. Dark storage should be avoided.

Rules for short‑term storage

Why is the principle “send it out dry” so important?

Fungal risk often starts in logistics, when foliage is wet and humidity is “trapped” around the plants. This is why airy, non‑humid handling is important both at dispatch and at collection.

“Send it out dry” protocol

Payment

What are the payment terms?

50% advance payment after order confirmation, balance upon collection. Settlement is based on the official MNB EUR exchange rate on the day of collection.

Technological routes (A–D)

When is each finishing route appropriate?
  • A) Polytunnel, lightly heated: faster cycle, for early season.
  • B) Cold house: compact, hardened plants, lower energy demand.
  • C) Outdoor: robust stock grown in natural climate.
  • D) Field: production‑scale timing, large lots, longer cycle.

Route A Route B Route C Route D

Is there a quick plant‑density recommendation for pot size?

Yes, starting standard: 2 L → 2 plants, 3 L → 3 plants, 6 L → 4 plants (fine‑tuning possible depending on variety and cycle).

Quality

What should I do if I notice a deviation at collection?

We recommend reporting with full batch identification (variety, tray count, collection date) and at least 3 photos (tray, roots/plug, label).
